We will provide you with the opportunity to get your company’s message to the decision makers of some of the largest and most influential employers in New York State. Exhibitors receive complimentary Annual Meeting Registration, plus up to two discounted registrations. Our event Breakfast, Refreshment Breaks and Receptions are held in the Exhibit Area (main hallway of the conference center). And, you get access to pre-and-post Conference Attendee lists.

You may cancel your registration up to seven days prior to the event. You will be refunded, less a $75 processing fee per registration. If you need to cancel less than seven days prior, you may: 1) send a substitute; or 2) receive a non-refundable credit voucher good for any Business Council event valid for up to one full year.
A popular feature of the Annual Meeting is our Prize Program, which gives attendees the chance to win items donated by member companies. The Prize Program has awarded hundreds of gifts to fellow Business Council members over our long history. Your company will be recognized for its contribution in our printed materials.

Brian McMahon has served as the full time Executive Director of the New York State Economic Development Council since January 1, 2000. Prior to that he served as the Director of Economic Development and Manufacturing for The Business Council of New York State, Inc, New York State’s primary business lobby organization.
NYSEDC is the principal organization representing more than 900 economic development professionals, which include the leadership of Industrial Development Agencies, Empire Zones, Local Development Corporations, commercial and investment banks, underwriters, bond counsels, utilities, chambers of commerce and private corporations. The purpose of NYSEDC is to promote the economic development of the state and its communities; encourage sound practices in the conduct of regional and statewide development programs; and, develop education programs that enhance the professional development skills of NYSEDC members.
A key mission of NYSEDC is to develop Best Practices for local economic development organizations.
Brian McMahon is a director of the New York Business Development Corporation and is a past director of the Council of Development Finance Agencies. He has also has served on numerous community boards, including the Wilton Wild Life Park and Preserve and the Albany YMCA. Brian was appointed by Governor Cuomo to serve on the Chairman’s Committee overseeing the Regional Economic Development Councils.
