MWBE & Small Business Networking Reception

The Business Council is making strides to increase MWBE membership and participation in our advocacy efforts by helping link MWBE’s with members in government procurement, construction and other fields. To this end, we host a private networking reception for minority and woman-owned businesses and small businesses looking for opportunities and increased visibility. The Reception, held in conjunction with the Legislators’ Reception (above), is supported by sponsorships and is always a sold out event.

Annual Environment Conference
Held in the fall of each year, this two-day conference is the foremost of its kind in New York State. The conference brings together experts from both the private and public sectors to interact and share the latest information relevant to environmental issues in New York State. The Environmental Committee Chairman’s Award is intended to recognize a specific project developed by an individual, organization, or business which demonstrated a notable contribution in conserving resources, protecting and enhancing our environment, or developing innovative approaches to environmental challenges.
