QUESTION OF THE MONTH
Q.
Is there a new poster required by the state Human Rights
Division that prohibits discrimination based on military
status and sexual orientation?
A. Recent
changes in the state’s human rights law now prohibit
discrimination on the basis of military status and sexual
orientation. However, the current poster has not changed.
Rather, the division has produced an additional smaller poster
covering military status and sexual orientation.
You should contact the human rights division at 718/741-8400
to order this new additional state poster.
