Q. When
holidays fall on a weekend, how do companies handle the holiday time
off and pay issues?
A. Employers
who work a Monday to Friday workweek generally observe Friday as the
holiday, if it falls on a Saturday, and Monday as the holiday, if it
falls on a Sunday.
